Overview 2019-2020 student body president Tiara Floyd, the first woman of color to hold the office at the University of Kansas, started the Twitter hashtag #BlackatKU in June 2020 to give students, faculty, and staff of color at the University of Kansas a place to share their experiences with racism and microaggression while studying and working at KU.
